THE BIT AND BRIDLE - Carrie and Nath Herin, a couple of thirty years, own and operate the Bit and Bridle. After their son moved to a distant town, they converted the homestead into an bed and breakfast for travelers. They provide standard lodging, stabling and accomodations. They also serve meals to paying customers in the large dining room on the first floor. Carrie's fried catfish is a local favorite, and many of the people from the nearby town will come in for food and conversation.
