The City of Haerlech by Sirinkman [50%]
Started in February of 2015 for the Evolving Map challenge, Haerlech grew beyond the bounds of that challenge and became a year-long journey. A quest to complete this detailed city in a cohesive style.
It stands as one of my best maps ever.

Nice! How do you make maps like this?

    Hey Bradley - thanks
The WIP thread is here, showing all the steps and stages of the process.

This is wonderfully inventive and beautifully crafted. As ever, the icing in the cake with a map such as this is the shadow cast by buildings and other elements. Very fine work.

    Thanks Roger.

I've been away from mapping for a while - but looking through your portfolio has truly given me inspiration. The same way I felt back when Djekspek was sharing his maps. Dude.... you have so much talent - I want to print this and hang it on my wall. I will bookmark this and all your maps. I hope on some your posts your post you share your setup. I want to own the same computer and tablet as you - maybe that will help me improve my maps!

    Thanks so much RJ
That is an awesome compliment being anywhere near a statement with Djekspek. Nods firmly.
My setup is newish... I think i built it maybe 3 years back.

    As for pc specs...
    Windows 7 [64bit] with core i7 5820K [3.3GHz]
32 GB of ram and an SSD scratch disk for Photoshop
    Loads of harddrive space too.
And a wacom cintiq for drawing.
It's costly, but when you draw everyday, it's worth it.
