"Oh no ! He speaks french !"

Well, not all the way. I'm actually in my office wandering on the internet and I found this website while I was looking for another website I visited a long long time ago (several years).
It was a website about a guy creating urban maps of fictionnal cities (maybe It's someone who is now on this forum...).
Why was I looking for this kind of website ? Why am I actually here ?

Well, like many of you, I like maps and creating maps since childhood. But for 10 years now, I'm creating a fictionnal country based on USA, Canada and France. And the people here are so talented that I'm here to learn how to improve these maps.

So, bonjour à tout le monde and I hope I'll like it here.

Bonjour et Bienvenue à la guilde! J'espère que vous plais ici.

I hope I didn't mangle that to much, don't remember to much of the four years of highschool french (although the GF is a french major, which kinda keeps me on my toes)

Sorry but I must object to the idea that I would in any way, shape or form, ever map Cher. I object to this in the most strenuous music-snob-like terms!

Oh by the way... Welcome to the Guild.

welcome to the guild - try browsing through the finished maps section and see if there is something you like ... keep an eye out for a2area's maps, they might fit your taste - like this one (http://www.cartographersguild.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=19294&d=1260339181) :)

Thanks for all. Merci. You're all nice.

Indeed I found amazing maps already, a2areas's maps are in that case. I have A LOT of questions to ask him :P
I'll have a look at the tutorials, the FAQs and I'll try to show you my maps for advices.
