Redrobes noticed that Boing Boing has a Submitterator - a free submissions area with news that you can vote on. The highest voted stories stand a chance of getting posted to the front page, with all the traffic that picks up. I've submitted the story to the submitterator. Now we just need people to click the little green + to vote it up the list!

The submitterator can be found here:
http://boingboing.net/submit/

and the story is titled Gallery Show of Fantasy Maps in Soho, NY. Let's see if we can make this a featured story :)

Cool! I've voted. I'm a boing boing regular and was wondering about getting the guild itself mentioned but it seemed too self promotional (and you have to register to see the pictures - and the guild itself is not really 'boing boingish), so I abandoned the thought. Promoting the Gallery show is a terrific idea as it also showcases the Guild, and the show (digital art in a digital gallery, showcasing fantasy map) is *mucho* boing boingish!

+ed. I am a Web 1.0 person, I guess. Never heard of this outlet.

Edit: Well, 0.0, I guess...my first experience with online stuff was Compuserve in a box c. 1983-4. A 300 baud modem on a C64. It was like the information bunnytrail.

Excellent - we have now beaten the jet powered bus. Next target, the FBI!

I also voted for the triceratops story, damn them paleontologists. First they change brontosaurus to apatosaurus now this. What's next, T-Rex is just a teen-age version of a leaf-eating, weight-watching, cholesterol-managing dino called middle-aged rob who buys a fancy car and dates much younger dinos?

Wow - second on the list. Good work everyone!

This is a great project and such an easy way to get more exposure for the gallery and the show.

ETA: oh, and yes, I added my vote, too.
