Heya, for some time I'm working on the website for Fantasy Brewmaster. They're working on a Dwarven Beer, that is actually being brewed :D The website to promote the beer will contain a map of the surroundings of the brewery. I'll post the link to the website once it's ready but I thought lets share some stuff I'm working on ;) More details can be found at dA (http://fantasy-brewmasters.deviantart.com/) and their website (http://www.fantasybrewmasters.com/). cheers!

Phenomenal, you're such a terrific artist! Do you make a full time living out of doing art / graphic design type work?

Amazing stuff as always!

thanks guys! Rav, thanks for the compliment, but to pay the rent, I work as a business/IT consultant. I hope someday to make a living out of this. But imo I'd have to get much better first (there's just so many extremely talented people out there..). So I practise almost every day and try to catchup with those guys that have been drawing every day for 10-20 years. Maybe when I hit 65 I caught up :) cheers

Honestly, I could see the above being used in a commercial product. It is truly splendid!

Yeah, I think that the commercial art world must be the toughest vocation of them all - and it's so badly paid. Maybe the top 5% must make a decent living out of it, but I think the rest must do it out of love.

Beautiful work as always... that was a fun challenge we had for that.

I really love this piece D. Can you tell me how large you created it? Like to get the details you have, it must be like 4x the size you posted above?

02-10-2011, 08:23 PM
thanks RJ, the piece itself is 7000 by 18000, and using a 4pt brush that's a lot of space to cover ;)

Holy moly. If I tried to start an image that large, my computer would crash on the spot so it wouldn't have to attempt processing it.

that looks damn good - once again I'm envious of your skills... and your patience ;)

yeah - my computer has no hope. When i'm working on oversized files, my brush strokes seem to be not as smooth. Sort of jagged.
