This was made before my Astrillonian Territory map over on this thread http://www.cartographersguild.com/showthread.php?14264-Astrillonian-Territory It depicts Drazendar which I think will be one of the main town's of the Forum roleplay im going to start on the Elite RolePlayer's forums.

Looks pretty good! I very much like your trees (they look great individually or in clumps) and your rough hill terrain is cool.
I'm guessing you used RPG Citymap Generator? It gave you a nice distribution of buildings but the roads could use a bit of tinkering I think - there are a few in the main town cluster that are going nowhere. Also, the widest roads look pretty out of scale with the buildings, maybe thin them up some? Some judicious editing of your road network would greatly improve the look of this one I think. Final, also an artifact of RPGCMG is the blobby shape of the pond? Just a little bit of hand painting would make that more natural looking I think.
Great map. Have some rep for it!

Yeah, I was worried about the roads also. Definitely near the center the road's go nowhere and make no sense.

Like M said, the textures are great. I really like the overall feel of this. Have some rep :)

I tried fixing some of the roads

I'd say that's a big improvement!

Very fun city. I like that it looks like it's inside a valley.

Just as a military thought... I wouldn't build my castle at the bottom of a cliff, I'd much prefer to be building it higher up. So next to the lake and well up a hill would be a better place for a castle.

Yeah.. Ha. This was a while ago that I made this. I have a better (much better) Sense of realizm now so don't worry.
