View Full Version : another mapper

Hi all, recently found this place and it's a great resource. I love to go through maps and find one that's perfect for whatever game I happen to be running. I mostly run 7th Sea and Shadowrun, though I've recently been getting into oWOD.

When I draw my own maps, I use autoCAD. I know there's more focused programs out there, but it's what I have and what I know. Plus, it gets along well with the 24"x36" plotter at work (yay big maps!) I've also used to to create 3d models of some maps, such as Dragonlance's High Clerist's Tower. I'll have to dig that up some time.

My current project is to compile a complete and accurate map of 7th Sea. The published ones never show all the relevant data on a single map. Almost done, but I need better hatches for mountains and forests. I'm also considering creating it as a paper-pieced tapestry.

Greetings! 7th Sea is a great world to play in. Making a map of the whole thing is a huge undertaking, Best of luck!
