Atlas for a nation in a world which me and a2area and others are developing, these are the 3 first maps of 140, there are others in various stages of completion. the atlas will contain thematic pages too.

original ress: 6447x4369.

there are things missing on purpose, such as latitudes and longitudes ;)

That's a lot of work, man. Wow. Good to see you back, though...you always do nice things. Not sure that the fuzzy caterpillars work, maybe contour lines might be better there, but no biggie.

Well ill give it a go, ill try the contours, its just a mater of replacing a single layer per map so no biggie. yeah its alot of work and i estimate it may take me the good part of a year or so. currently it takes a full day of work to complete each map. the frilly borders still need work though.
What id like to accomplish ideally would be to place all the maps on a flash flip book and publish online so people can use it as a book.

yeah ive been absent since i was finishing my last year of uni and finals and what not.

Looks really cool, can't imagine how much work it was!

One thing though: maybe add more contrast to the names of the territories? And, if you haven't, I'd suggest reading this tutorial (http://www.cartographersguild.com/showthread.php?12373-Positioning-names-on-maps&highlight=positioning+names) on positioning names; I found it to be quite helpful.

I'd love to see the full atlas!
