Experimenting with Terragen

I stumbled upon a freeware called Terragen. I assume it's ok to post this picture and I won't be violating anything.

This is sort of a WIP. My current criticisms are that the land looks too green and should be somewhat visible just below the waterline. I attempted to alter the settings so that the sun at day would look like the moon at night.

This is really nice, Avulsion. I think you nailed the criticisms with the green land & the water opacity.

This is more of an image than a map; do you plan to map it? If not, would you mind if I moved it to the General Discussion forum?

Sure, you can move it wherever. Honestly, I didn't know where to post this in the first place.

However, I do want to use this or at least alter it for use in one of my campaigns. The flat area in the middle next to the river is a scenic campground or something for the adventurers.
