Been a loooooong while since I lasted posted, but here is the newest map I've worked on.
And by newest I mean I painted this over a year ago, this is for an upcoming ps3 game that may or may not be canceled...regardless I'm proud of the map :D
Just a note, I removed all city/landscape names since I'm not sure about the games status.

That's amazing. I really like your forests and cliff coastlines.

I like that very much; detailed cities, the colors.

Thanks Ascension, HTram & jfrazierjr. Detailed little things is what I do, which is why I take too long with my freelance :P
I might have some map commissions soon after the character art I'm on, working along side the ever-talented Jon Roberts on Rhune. (http://www.rhunedawnoftwilight.com/) and when I'm done with those they'll be up here right away, no more 1 year waits!

Very nice, I like the angle it is at and the cities are fab!
Great map! I love the style - especially the cities - pure eye candy :-)

Thanks for the doubly-fine comments guys/girls. Sometimes I just want to do maps all day just to show you all. I need to work out some full time freelance living. It's just so damn risky.

It's a minor nitpick, but you spelled "Copyright" wrong.
07-19-2011, 09:04 PM
Actually, it's not such a minor nitpick. It may not constitute a legal copyright notice misspelled. (IANAIPL, but if (c) is not acceptable [it isn't, you must use the actual copyright symbol], "copywrite" likely isn't either.)

Copyright notices haven't been legally required in the USA since 1989, when the USA signed the Berne Convention. The same applies for all countries that are party to the Berne Convention. An absent or incorrect notice may affect damages awarded against an infringer however.

...ok I'll fix the spelling mistake :P

Copyright not withstanding, this is just lovely work Aerius! Really, I'm quite taken with it.
Very lovely done. You really captured the ISO consistently without making the map look too slanted.
