Hi, another finished piece I can show. I did some citymaps for a D6 RPG called Azamar for Wicked North Games (RE did the worldmap for this). You can check out their website here (http://worlds.cinema6games.com/).

"Azamar city is the largest city on the surface, and the most populated. It boasts a population of near 1,200,000 people, surrounded by many farms and several out walls that afford those farmers a bit more protection. It is a southern port city, so the south side of the city is lined with piers and harbors, where it crests with a large towered palace atop a hill overlooking the ocean (this is where the King of Azamar resides). Azamar also has the Academy of Science and Sorcery (a large school devoted to wizardry and research of it). The Tre’uoall (our elves) live in a quarantine zone from the rest of the people in the cities, especially in Azamar City, as they are hated and blamed for a near-world ending event long ago."

cheers, DJ

DJ, that is absolutely stunning!!!! Amazing detail, I could get lost in there!!

But shouldn't it be 'Capital' rather than 'Capitol'?

wonderful map - to bad you can't post it at high res, I'd love to "dive in" :)

How large is the original map?

Very nice. Reminds me of Carthusal (and that's a good thing, not implying it's derivative). Have some rep!

Thanks guys! The original map is 4800x3600 (also B&W) but as it was intended to be printed half-page there is not a lot more details at that resolution. ravs, ouch, it should have been Captal indeed (we missed that one :( ). Also a keen eye Mearrin, Carthusal is one of the maps I looked at to get inspiration (not saying that this one is anywhere near as good as Carthusal, that one is simply brilliant). cheers, DJ
