oooh.. I'd love one of those, but they are a bit expensive at $2500 (+ whatever extreme taxes the danish government imposes)

I've dreamed of a cintiq for a long time. But the price is a bit steep. But oboy do they look great (if I ever find out that someone on this forum has one I will ignore them forever ;) )

Oh man that looks nice...Got to find the money.....got to find the money....I just love the way it doubles a normal monitor.

@Clercon you'd better start ignoring Arcana really quickly then :)

Oh, that's cool. But $2500 is more than even my car's worth. :P

Well, now I have something to save towards!

That.. and a machine worthy of it :)

Wow. I don't need to say more than that...but the forum software won't let me say less.

Very nice...I'm not sure I caught what made it better than the current 21 they have out...something was 75% yadda yadda but I didn't understand what they said. Odd place to do an interview with all those people yacking in the background.

I'm still holding out for a cintiq myself but it's one of those things that keeps getting hijacked by life issues. :(

As for the differences and improvements I'll go check their website and compare.

Well, it's at least 3 better.

He said it covers 91% of the sRGB color gamut, as opposed to 72% from the current model. For more info on color gamut and monitors, here's a nice blog post: http://damiensymonds.blogspot.com/2010/04/check-your-monitors-gamut.html

Looking at what's on offer, I think the 12wx would be the best for me (as we're dreaming) since you can rotate it easily. the others are too big to rotate so you have press buttons and do funky stuff to rotate the canvas on-screen. I'm hoping with the release of the 24HD the 12wx will drop in price. It's currently about 830 which is well over my budget, but that's a helluva lot cheaper than 2.5k.

Yeah, I want the rotation since I don't draw straight up and down to "paper" orientation. You'd get a nice arm workout moving that thing around as much as I would...I'd turn green and start yelling SMASH all the time.

Yeah 63 pounds or whatever makes it rather unportable even if all you were doing was transporting it from one location to another....never mind a week long trip. I still like the 21" but mainly because I don't like to feel cramped when I'm drawing something big.
