View Full Version : Everyone welcome NeonKnight as a new Community Leader!!!
03-03-2008, 04:50 PM
After much deliberation and melee combat amongst ourselves (kidding) we've decided to promote NeonKnight to the position of Community Leader. As a high contributer to the site through his post count and helpfulness as well as his apparent social skills, we figured he'd make a great addition to the team considering the influx of new members lately.
Everyone give him a warm welcome and pat on the back as well as giving him as much sympathy as you can considering the amount of crap he has to put up with now that he's staff.

Thanx for the support guys.
I am sure everyone was wondering what suddenly swallowed me up that I would go almost a whole week with no posts, maps, comments etc.
Was at D&D XP in Arlington this past weekend trying to see if I could win the D&D Miniatures Limited Championships.
Sadly, I did not win, nor even make it into the prize money rankings (needed to finish in the Top 8 for that honor), but I did the best I have ever done in a competition of that magnitude (competing against the best of the best in the world), I finished the Nationals in 13th position out of 80 entrants (136 total invites).
But, now that that stress is gone from my life time to once again get down to some fun mapping.

13th is no mean feat! Congratulations Daniel!
Oh....and commiserations on being voted as the next community leader!
Great to have you on board, Daniel (and I'm very glad your name is not Rob - as every other member of staff seems to be - apart from Don).

ConGratz to both promotion and 13th in the Mini's Nationals. 13th is quite good and for me a cooler number than 1 :P

Congratulations NK, and on the mini's too... I love mini's almost as much as I like maps... maybe there's some sort of connection with that... hmmm
