A piece I did to practice some experimentation with grayscale and sepia tones. Not _exactly_ the look I was going for, but it turned out all right, I think.

I like it (no surprise there). Has kind of a post-apokalyptic feel :D

Beautiful work, Diamond. Don't know what look you were going for, but this looks great! A departure from the clean vector style too.

Love the mountains and the desaturated sepia, makes it look both modern and vintage in my eyes :)

I modified this a bit. Added roads, changed the title box around a little, and added another Ferrencian city-state.

looks good, but I feel the large roads are a little blurry?

Diamond

Yeah, I applied a blur filter to them. They looked TOO sharp otherwise.

maybe you could sharpen the edges a little, so they look more like the small ones - or perhaps that was what you had ;)

Thanks, Ravs, thanks guys! Appreciate it.

Yeah, that's what I had originally. Too sharp; didn't mesh well with the rest of the map.

I love the look and feel of that map. Wish I had that talent!
