Hey Guys,

My name is Derek from Ambitious Software. I have released an App designed to assist in the making of Mapps for the iPad called Dungeon Mapp (http://ambitioussoftware.com).

Please have a look and if you like what you see download it and give me some feedback on what you think should be added next.

I feel a little nervous posting on this site, I know you guys are enthusiasts and my app is designed to be fast and functional. But I feel for quick dungeons and battles it works really well, and some of the new features I've added like auto rolling and ordering of Initiative, the always accessible Dice Roller, the animated decals (like burning fires and rippling water) and the ability to save mapps and share them with others make it a really nice package.

At any rate, I'll wrap up pimping my stuff and please contact me (either here or via the site) and let me know what you think.

Welcome to the Guild!

Nothing at all to feel nervous about. We embrace mapping, and game mapping in all its forms and uses, and while I don;t own an Ipad, I can easily see a use for your app around the gaming table.

Welcome to the Guild! I use my iPad a bunch for in-game handouts and various other things...so I'm going to check out your app as soon as I can.

Sounds like a fun app - only have an iphone not an ipad, but generally I'm pro for software that helps the GM ;)

Well, judging from the videos on your website, this looks like a nice tool for gamemasters...

Thanks for the welcome! I'll have a free version of the app up in a few days, so if you want to hang on for that it has most of the functionality unlocked. I'll post again when it goes live.

The videos are pretty old (and embarrassingly acted) so please check out the features list and the manual for a better description of what the app can do. I'm especially proud of the dice roller, I love rolling dice but this is a quick solution that's available any time you play.
