When I pull up the large version its going very dark. Strangely cool but not very functional, LOL.

Nope, still dark for me. The thumbnail above is brown and normal looking.

Not too dark for me, but there is really no natural reason for a river to split like that in the bottom right quadrant. Rivers only split in a certain stage of their life cycle, and always temporarily and for very short distances before joining up again, or close to shore where deltas form in deposited sediments.

Indeed, but the map is far from finished, many mountains are still absent and the forest are not present yet. The mountains there are just the ones i had time so far to integrate :)

It doesn't matter how many mountains or forests you intersperse, a river will not split like that and travel in parallel courses all the way to the coast.

I believe it is not true. River bifurcation exist. It is a very rare occurence i agree but volcanic activity can be one of the reason.

But might change it if really people do not like it.

Changed and added rivers. Also added some mountains. Dunno yet how to make the forests (maybe treething)

Nice WIP. I also like Lake Iceland there in the upper right. ;)

Oh my! It does look a bit like Iceland! You just ruined the map for me :p
I think you just found a name for that lake!

Against the sepia look of the rest of the map, those greens really bug out. I would try de-saturating them a bit so they aren't so bright.

forests are really tedious. This is it so far.

Yes, they are. I think that's why Ramah ended up creating the TreeThing; check it out! (I believe it's in the Mapping Resources, can't grab a link on the phone)

Did a bit more work, added more forests (i hate forests).
Treething doesn't seem to work with me so finger automated it is :p

Adjusted also the color of those stoopid forests!

I think the map is finished now. If you guys got some suggestions I am all ears!!!
I'm pretty happy about that first large map and only second ever!
The PSB file is 2.03Gb and it should be printed 120cm by 90cm.

I think it looks fairly nice. My only suggestion would be that you have allot of open space within your sea, and, given the style, what would really tie the map together would be a map key along with Title, and perhaps cartouche (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cartouche_%28cartography%29). Otherwise, looks great.
