View Full Version : Fantasy Town Map

This is a map I've done assembling in Photoshop elements I've previously drawn.
I was looking for something that might be at the same time a reference for players and a map for the game master.
In case you like it, here are the .psd source assets - feel free to grab them and use them as you like.

Looks nice, but lacking any description or legend it more an illustration than a map.

@Max: You are perfectly right, I didn't think about it, but yes, towers and building can easily used as icons on a world map or so :-)
@Sapiento: You are right too. I have a version with labels and a legend, but it's in italian. I thought it was better to post a plain version here, so anyone can grab it and use it.
Thanks both for the feedback!

Seeing as how you are also posting the psd file, I don't think having the finished product would do any harm to anyone wanting to use it for themselves ;) Nicely done by the way. :D

Hi Lyandra, here is the map of the town of Goryon, which I used in one of my GURPS campaign :)

Beautiful, although I don't understand the significance of having a stone circle so close by. I would think they would be further away from civilization, unless they are being used. This one looks run down. Also, reminds me of Runescape in a big way :p

Thanks ravells, all!
Highlander - There's a reason for everything! The circle of stones has been erected many centuries before the village. Then the gods worshipped there have been forgotten. The circle became a fairground. Then a market, then a village. But there is a lost secret hidden behind the ancient sanctuarium and behind the town itself. That secret, once awaken, will help the heroes to fight off an overwhelming army of bad boys besieging the city.
taro: thanks for the honour, but I definitely have no time to do it. Mapping and gaming is an hobby for me. I stick to the principle that if I make something by commision, I will spoil all the pleasure... Apologies.
