Most recent commission. I'll also be doing some closer maps of places within this one. This map was created/drawn/painted by hand, mostly in photoshop (with the exception of approximately two thirds of the labels, which were hand-lettered on paper first and then scanned).
EDIT: I've now finished one of those aforementioned closer maps, The Realm of Callis. Check it out HERE (http://www.cartographersguild.com/finished-maps/24560-realm-callis.html)! Also, during the planning stage of Callis, it was decided to relocate some of the cities in the interest of flavorful storytelling, and so I've switched out the map of Wyn above to reflect those adjustments.

As the guy that commissioned it, I am thrilled. If you guys could see the notebook paper scribbles that I provided as the guide... This final result is MAGIC, plain and simple.

This is beautiful. I would love to see more as all the others. This must go with an amazing story to have so much detail.

Well, the stories are still in the embryonic stages, but that is my hope for them. I certainly don't mind if Chashio wants to share a full-res version. This is the initial sketch I provided, scribbled in a notebook in a bout five minutes while sitting in my truck after work. I'm...not much of an artist. But after about 50 emails back and forth as things progressed, I've finally got a concrete vision of the world that's been scratching around my skull for the last two and a half years.

Cool stuff, thanks for sharing, persondude!
And thanks for allowing Chashio to post the full-res version :) Hope to seeing it soon.
Oh and keep us informed about your stories, will you?
And have some Rep. for your first posted map.

Updated the first post with a larger image. I don't generally post hi-res versions of commissions on the web, but, well, Eilathen... ;)
Thanks to everyone for the nice comments.
persondude, your sketch was very easy to interpret.

Wow, this is so beautiful! It looks like something a Tolkien elf would paint. Or like something I'd love to frame and put on my wall :D

A gorgeously illustrated and lettered piece Chashio! I love the unusual framing, but most of all your decorations and compass at the top are absolutely fantastic and compliment your theme very well! :)
Your style is unique Chashio! very very cool, awesome illustration!!
