Meh, can't rep you at the moment :(

Anyway, great job on this one. Your scan seems very clear, I wish I could get this on my hand made maps.

Do you use a common ink pen?

Max I'm in love with the border, compass and other overlaying details. Did you create them from scratch?

Viking, I used vector stuff to make outer border and compass. For the more elaborated ornaments (brownish ones) I overdrawn them from a low quality jpeg (free one of course). City map itself is hand-drawn and local map was made digitally. Thanks for the comment :)

Very very nice :) I am curious though, are there no city gates? Obviously I guess the slums are a bit a security issue on their own I guess being completely open like that.

Thanks Viking! There are city gates though the slum area isn't in the area surrounded by the city wall. The walls don't circle it because slum area is on a mountain/hill side. To know more details about it, you'll probably have to ask the client that commissioned the map ;)

The map is absolutely splendid!
And I agree with Viking - "the border, compass and other overlaying details" are a masterpiece.

By the way, Bhirma is (or was) a real city in India - it would be interesting to compare it with the map ;)

Thanks much Gallien :) As far as I understood, the game is a fantasy setting in ancient India.
