So I got a concept to map. A 'Tundra Crawler' - a wheeled container/expedition ship for arctic use ... more to come, no showable WIP yet ...

A little something to show my general idea.
As for the dimensions, the boxes are 20ft ISO Containers - so this module would be about 85 meters x 15 meters ...

So i did a frame for the container modules, reworked the wheel mounts. Just copy-pasted three modules so it looks like something ...

So next step - added another living compartment, reworked the fuel module, now using a container module with fuel containers

To be done: the crane module needs a control-cabin. Mapping the interior of a few containers, add some cutaways ...

Current vehicle dimension ~140m (460ft) x 15m (50ft)

With your living compartments this is really starting to come together in my head now as I can get a sense of scale. I like the idea a lot.

You should come visit Churchill manitoba Canada, we have something like these. Inflatable tires can shatter when it gets too cold and the weight forces them to have any kind of a flat bottom which causes an edge while driving. My brother in law guards ice roads to diamond mines and has many great ice road disaster stories.

I added two semi trucks, to add a feeling for the scale of this thing.

beautiful! the neo-X colour scheme with the cool grey info graphics is quite cool (pardon the thermo-pun)

The finished thing looks great like some sort of brochure at an industry trade show.

The word "personell" in one of the labels probably ought to be "personnel". Other than that, quite well done.

Oh, thanks for pointing that out ;)
Some other issues corrected:
- Tracks and Tires did not match, the imprint has to be reversed to what is seen on top (a friend of mine remarked 'You are crazy, no one would have noticed')
- Another typo in the description for the container module
- Changed the chairs in the command center, office chairs seemed inappropriate in that operational parameters
- The Vmax Info seemed too empty - added buoyancy and temperature range.

Yeah, that's a nice idea. I like the graphic design. It's a solid work.

Traveling the Tundra in style! Nice work Eric. Yes, I agree with your friend, I doubt anyone would notice the tracks. On the other hand, there are sharp eyed people here who notice the tinniest details, so better to be safe and do it right.
