View Full Version : The Cradle – a region of Pangea

Here's a follow-up job on the Pangea map I did recently, a close-up on the region where most stuff happens. Again it's only landscape, no labels, but I'm actually starting to like that, sort of…

I really like this map, mountains are great, forest look cool, and I love the dead looking lands at the top of the map.

I really like the colors on this map -- the overall green tone ties all the elements together nicely, in my opinion.

Lingon, do you mind if I use this map to test your font? It's more inspiring than the blank background of microsoft word.
So far, what do you think ?
And Just to be sure; are these the three last characters ? Å Ã Õ

Wow, that's great, Azelor! Of course, test it on any of my maps! The last three characters are Å Ä Ö (the double dots often become lines in handwriting). There's just one thing I'd like different (apart from some spacing tweaks, as you already said), the "h" is supposed to sit in the same way as "m" and "n", with the left leg on the base line and the right leg on the first descender.
I think I'll add numbers, punctuation and some special characters to this sometime soon, would you be interested in updating the font when they are done? I'm not sure when I'll be able to do it though, maybe not until after christmas.

Ok you can send me the file and I will add them to the font.
