Hi all,

Here's another map from Oraven's world, this time the map of Dunral, a small coastal village. It's 8,5x11" size and hand drawn in Photoshop, attached are color and greyscale versions.

Hope you'll like it. As usual, feel free to rate, rep or run away :)

Very cool! This totally screams "RPG-village map" to me :D
Very atmospheric, Max.

Nice one :)

Reminds me of what I try to do, yours just comes out much better. :P

I don't understand the "Notes" section, is that supposed to be for someone to write in? It would be neat if you wrote in some information with a handwriting type font.

Very good, as usual!

I would only suggest to increase the contrast in the B/W picture.
It may be improved, don't you think?

I completely agree with Eliathen, it's a perfect RPG map! In fact, a kind of hârnic village (for the details) largely improved with your artistic style.

Thanks much guys!
@ Foremost : this map, along all the Oraven maps I'm making is intended to be included in a booklet for GMs and players. Whatever they use labeled or unlabeled versions (means whatever they use Oraven setting or personnal setting with those maps), they'll be able to use the notes to write in their personnal stuff for their game.
@ Dain: yep I agree, I'll try to tweak it :)

Excellent Max, this one is going in my "use this in an adventure" file!

This is excellent as usual Max, and as others have already mentioned, looks exactly like an iconic RPG town map.

Have you ever put together a tutorial on how you color your maps? I'm severely lacking in this area, and I LOVE your style.

Thanks Willy :) Well unfortunately I haven't make such a tutorial. Basically the color technic is (for instance on the buildings): one basic color, two shades levels with two colors and two highlights levels with two colors.

That's helpful!
