Just wondering if anyone's done anything with this. It seems like DLA might be a good model for water working its way through rock, and it also looks a little like drainage patterns in mountain ranges. It's very tree-like, but if several could intersect it might make a reasonable basis for a cave system.

I've played with the technique to try and generate mountain ridgelines, and from that mountain ranges, but found with my coding skills it was way too slow :)
