No, the two don't have much in common, apart from me finding these maps the last few days ;). I liked them so much, I thought it would be good to share :)

Jason Engle is an artist, who has done work for Wizards of the Coast, several other (roleplaying) publishers, covers for novels. And, as I found out, also some cartography. There are several pages of overland maps, building maps and encounter maps, all rich in colour and detail.

Another map I found today was a map, set up as some sort of metro system, depicting the artists musical styles and bands. I liked the concept in itself a lot, and the result is also very nice :)

The 1st, 3rd, and 4th maps are for the D&D Minis game. They are known to us players as:

Thieves Quarters (no longer legal for Sanctioned tournament because of rules issues)

Market Square: A fun map

Ratfang Sewers: another fun map.

We have from Left to right: Icestorm Tower (DDM), Evermelt (DDM and comes with the Legends of Drizzt Miniature Pack), Unknown Map, Blue Dragon Lair (DDM, comes with the Gargantuan Blue Dragon Mini)
