So i have been following the tutorial put forth by robA in this tutorial (http://www.cartographersguild.com/tutorials-how/875-%5Baward-winner%5D-making-not-so-random-coastlines-gimp-alternative-method.html) to make a outline of a island/continent and i now have an outline of my map.

Which tutorials would you guys recommend i look at to go from here? eventually i would love to begin using the tutorial put forth by arsheesh in his eriond tutorial (http://www.cartographersguild.com/tutorials-how/18280-%5Baward-winner%5D-eriond-tutorial-gimp-wilbur.html)

Thanks for the help!

So after digging through the tutorials forum i found this http://www.cartographersguild.com/tutorials-how/3143-%5Baward-winner%5D-explanation-layer-masks-gimp-ps-5.html and man has this been a great explanation and stepping stone from robA's tut to the Eriond tut.

no problem i knew there was an answer out there. I kinda wish there was a tutorial page where all of the award winner tuts were put in pdf format but in the mean time we can amuse our selves by spelunking in the tutorials forum.

from http://www.cartographersguild.com/tutorials-how/4987-tutorials-pdf-format.html

Just an FYI, since Vandy hasn't been around recently and there are tons of great tutorials in PDF format that were not listed, I've just updated and expanded this thread to include them. Hopefully this will make this thread more useful for new members. I've searched up to 12 pages into the Tutorials archives so anything older than that hasn't been included. So if you see anything else that should be included please post a message and I'll add it to the list.

I think Arsheesh did a good job but if you find missing tutorials, you can post the link. Or maybe you meant to say that about the tutorials that are not in pdf format ?
