The original tunnels under Greyport had been there for thousands of years, with yet more tunnels and caverns below leading into the Deeperdepth, but as the population of Greyport bloomed, the city's engineers needed to deal with the problem of waste... and also the Deeperdepth's rising inhabitants

I'm not usually into hand drawn maps ( don't worry, a lot more people here love them ), but these are really good! I might just use them for my game tonight.

This is great. Most dungeons are made in a way to make the adventure work and are designed to give the players the feeling that they have not missed anything. On your map players will realise that they will never be able to see every room of the sewers. I hope they will realise, that having a good time and experiencing some great adventures in the unknown is more fun, than working through every room.
Also your rooms and corridors are structured in a way, that make even the "normal" rectangular ones interesting and faszinating.

Thanks Bogie :)). Sure, I love the idea of people using my maps, and always like to hear snippets about what happened in which locations... Good fun :P

Hi epson, thank you. Yes I like to make maps that feel organic, this one was off the top of my head sketch with the focus on the central chamber being the collection point... I was going to add details into the water/sewer but I'd done enough details after about 8 hours lol :-)

I really just could not stop looking at the original map he posted on Google+ here (https://plus.google.com/u/0/+MonkeyblooddesignCoUk/posts) look up his work there as it is really good! The map he posted above was drawn by hand and has excellent line weight and detail. (the scan does not do it full justice)

Keep up the great work in this hand drawn style.

I really like that black and white map. The hand-drawn fill and bricked edges really work for me.

Those are great. (I really like the recolored one as well) They have already spun me off into a bit of a story.....Lorgo couldn't decide what was worse, the foul smell emanating from the dank walls of this place or Ermie's constant chewing. The fool had taken the last bite of bread what seemed like hours ago but was still working his rotten teeth on whatever was left. Lorgo briefly considered running the toothless idiot through and leaving him in this pool of filth they walked through but realized that Ermie held the map in his head. The twists and turns of this place would make any man lose his sanity...... Sometime I just can't help myself :)

Wow, that really gives a sense of the complexity of the underground structures ... as well as the unseen vastnesses still left to map!

I really like the parchment version, and the coloured version gives some really nice lift, too. The first is the handout from the Sewer Rat. The second is hanging on the boss's wall.
