View Full Version : November Entry: Universe Super clusters

I guess I should toss mine in here as well since I'm mapping the universe for my game. As it stands right now, its a player functional map but I'll modify my entry in here as the actual game map contains references to a few movie worlds (crossovers) that players can explore. My original thread about this project is located here (http://www.cartographersguild.com/showthread.php?t=3192).

Personally, I don't think I'll be able to get this map "done" by the 25 due to the volume of work on the project but I'll see how close I can get.

So, here is how it stands now.

To do:
* Coordinates below the cluster's names.
* Distances next to the "travel lines".
* Some prettifying the map by adding non-functional items.

Comments and critique welcome.

I probly shouldt be doing this, but I'm workign on my map with a migraine and I'm high on pain pills. Didnt make it into work today so.

Updated map... I was gong to post it after noticing a couple errors, but decided to work on it some more.

while the dedication is laudible, I heartily suggest you sleep in a dark quiet room instead of focusing on a screen that is emitting light. Take care of yourself man. :)

Thanks mmmmmpig... Fat chance though. These are working well on the migraine at the expense of making me high as a kite.

I updated the map in the post above. Just added little circles with the major race count in each system based on my superstrings page.

Ouch! Get well soon. Try putting a smidgeon of glow around your lines...might look cool? or not....but worth a try.

Lovely composition though.

This one now has some real potential that I never saw before. It's very functional as a chart but some color tweaks could really make this into an artwork. Nice job.
