Ok I'm doing a dungeon crawl right now I'm pretty hyped with my maps and would like to show them off, currently I'm just making jpgs for my vtt game and then using invisible markers for other stuff. The first part I'm posting is the Mushroom Forest.
Ok this is the 3 sections that make up the underground Mushroom Forest.

Its not perfect but here is the map put together.

Thanks Heathan...very nice - big mushrooms, dark dungeon, excellent textures, but please use the thumbnails to post images (less of a download for us all).

Cheers

Very pretty. Something another DM might really appreciate (hint hint). I'd love to see the whole level when your players are done with it - perhaps in the finished map section?

Have some rep.

TY I will post the other images if I can. I normally do the maps partially in GIMP and do other stuff in MapTools, however I've found a few things that I can do where I can just make the maps in GIMP now. If you use maptools I have a previous campaign file I can send you.

ok well I've started on the next map which will be about the same size. This is another cavern system, I plan on having signs of a camp and blah blah blah, and there is a high possibility that my players will get ambushed by the BBEG. Also I'm redoing another map that I've already done as well, and I'll post it on here.
And I tried something different I tried to make subtle changes in the elevation that I'm hoping worked. For instance the area by the water is lower and across from it (through the "wall") that area is raised (I'm gonna have some of the ambusher's set up there).
I'm thinkin' of putting like some green moss and stuff there sense this looks pretty bland imo.

Would you guys like me to also post the "assembled" maps when I'm done??? I mean I do them in sections for my game but I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to put together some 40x40 inch maps using jpg and that way I can also adjust any glitches.

Ok posted the next set of maps, I even included one tile that had a boat. I'll assemble the full map tonight both with the boat and without.

This is really great and your mushroom forest has won a place in my game <3

Beautiful work.

Edit: But where are the badgers and snakes?

Thank you Aeg, I'm out of town on vacation atm, I'll post some more stuff next week.
As for the badgers and snakes, I won't be using them. The mushroom forest is going to be a "holy" area to a group of tribal drow. Swarms of spiders and a few massive spiders use it as there lair.
The other map is a campsite as the BBEG tries to make her way to the ancient ruins of a city.

As for the badgers and snakes

You cannot stop the badgers or snakes (http://www.weebls-stuff.com/toons/badgers/).

Yes please, I like to see how the bits fit together as one bigger part as it makes planning encounters and placing what creatures where an easier process.

I'm just hoping my PCs understand the joke because that cavern has some feywild dire badgers in it. I will die a little inside as a GM if they don't realise what I "did there" so to speak.

Wow! That might be one of the most annoying (and ridiculous) things I've ever seen.

LOL! That badgers and snakes link was insane and immensely catchy. I had to put it on my Facebook profile. :P I now return you from this brief thread hijack and return to heathan666's excellent maps. ;)
