Just come across this photo from NASA...

http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/images/imagerecords/38000/38985/ISS020-E-09048_lrg.jpg

Very useful for a number of mapping and gaming needs - and very hard to create or find a substitute image for.

I have been away for a day or two during the last few weeks and have a few textures I might post below as soon as I get a spare minute.

Looking at these with no place reference, they all look highly exotic but I can assure you that these were all moderately local. Britain can be a real nice place if only the sun would shine a little more often.

Very inspiring RR...I love looking at these as it gives me something to shoot for.

I thought the dark bushes one was very you already.

HEY - you have 500 rep MEGA pips ! Thats like the big flags on Galaxian after shooting them for 10 rounds.

Just saw that Jacko has popped it. What a shame. Noone is ever going to forget him or his music.

Great shots, RR! I think I'm going to go swallow those tree brushes whole. They're going to be quite fun to work with, I think.

Neat stuff... thanks for posting.

Yeah Jacko and Farah Fawcett on the same day. How many adolescent wet dreams did that woman expire way back when...?

My mom says that I still have that poster somewhere in her attic. Tragic for both of them really but for different reasons. 500...wonder if I can get a free dinner ;) Looks like my penchant for dark is beginning to precede me :)
