Sucks I was just going to post my final update. To little to late I guess.

Sucks I was just going to post my final update. To little to late I guess.

Yeah, sorry. It's closed now.
I posted two updates in the original challenge thread stating when I would close the challenge. I gave fair warning :)

Edit: I uploaded your latest WIP to the thread, it's now part of the thumbnails.
This really is an exception. I made it only because it looked like you put in quite some effort, you were only a few minutes late and we aren't evil around here :D
Still, this is no guarantee that we will react the same way when a situation like this arises again. Don't be late, please.

Thanks next time I will not procrastinate so much posting but work gets in the way of fun sometimes.

My vote went to Djekspek. It's a great map.

All of them look pretty good and some look great but I was trying to think of the most wild-looking map and a pentagram in the middle of a forest fit that bill for me so I went for Xyll.

I had to go with IndustryGothica. For some reason, this challenge just screamed jungle to me, and his was a great representation of a wild jungle-y feel.

I went for Wildfire by Djekspek. Although I think the labeling is too bright and clean compared to the rest of the map as a whole very good.

10-27-2009, 09:48 AM
Aye, my vote also to IndustryGothica. Awesome color-scheme and detail!

Well, tempting though it is to vote for myself in the current circumstances, it's not really cricket and I have to agree with the majority, Wildfire is a beautiful map.

Djekspek and industrygothica had very pretty maps. Djekspek and icosahedron had clever ideas. I went with Jeff_Wilson63, though, 'cause I particularly liked the style. Oh well, I guess that got him up to one vote anyway. I will be watching your career with great interest.

Well, I think it's safe to go ahead and offer Djekspek congratulations on a well-deserved win. It really is a beautiful map.

Here's to the next challenge!
