I was running a game session and needed a quick warm up adventure for a group that hasn't played in like forever. I had lots of stuff prepared but I wanted to just run a quick heist before we got into the meat.

I wanted to say thank you to Xyll for his 'Lite Challenge' temple entry because I was able to just use my laptop to pull up his map and that allowed me to run my players through the building adding things as needed. Thanks for your efforts it made my life easier.

I voted for one of the other maps but interestingly yours was the one I thought of when i realized what I needed. Some maps are just more playable I guess.

Accept the rep!

That's a good point about maps, the playability thing. Some maps are made to look pretty (guilty as charged), some are made to be informative, and others are functional for gaming sessions. I have to learn to keep those things in mind even though I don't play.

Thus the whole debate on things like lighting and objects...how many is too many, and how much is not enough?

I have always been a 'create a map for playability' type. Sure, cool lighting, etc looks good on a map, but if it detracts from telling where grid lines are etc while playing, then it is too much.
