Totally off topic and not a fan of Wall-Mart, but this commercial is just too funny:

omg that's one of the best commercials i've ever seen.

I'm still laughing!

Oh yeah, I love that commercial. first time I saw it, I kept laughing about it for an hour. I can still get a chuckle out of it if I think about all those kids being traumatized by this screaming clown. ROFL

I resisted the temptation to post it here but I'm glad it's being shared with you all.

It's good :P

Not as inyourface as the walmart one, but I love it!

Not a fan of the evil side of capitalism either, but I saw that on TV and thought it was hilarious! XD

I thought both were great but the first time I saw the USPS one I freaked out - I've seen Poltergeist too many times.

Oh god, I'm still laughing at the postal service one...

They are both good, and neither is a true representation of capitalism (as in neither is forcing you buy a product/service like some commercials), but have effectively cut through the 'noise' of advertising to grab you attention, and maybe make you remember the service/product for the future.

In that respect, they are good commercial advertising.

I mean look, they got us taking about things for the last few days.. Efficient branding :)

Hehe, ok I did see that USPS one but like Ascension it freaked me out a bit.

The Walmart one still cracks me up because it's so the kind of thing that would happen to me. I'll be thinking, this is going to be great and then things blow up in my face. I guess that's why it makes me laugh so much. Misery loves company :)
