It's been a while since I could work on my project. It's not finished yet, but there is some progress. So far the maps looks like below.
I am not really satisfied about forests though. More decorative items have to come.

I like the yellow stars, and the font for cities.
The whole thing has a wonderful hand-drawn feel. That is a look I have been trying to create myself, with only limited success. Well done!
