That's a great map. I like the style. What software are you using for the map/the projection?
First map - already having fun
So glad I found this forum - always thought I was the only one with some weird map fetish.
Setting up a system like this at home ( http://www.penpaperpixel.org/tutoria...topprojection/) and found this group while trying to figure out the best way to put together maps. Thanks to you folk, I figured out the best way was to just be creative and DIY.
So here's a quicky I did this morning - comments/crits welcome!

Thanks! I used photoshop for the map, and I think I'll just be going with straight photoshop for the projection system - I think it would take me longer to "learn" another system than to just work with what I already have.Originally Posted by torstan
Love the style of the map. The colour choice and clean lines are great.
My only crit\suggestion would be the placement of the "S" for the secret door. I always recess them so they are actually behind the flat of the wall a little bit. Then I continue the line of the wall so that they are not obvious.
That allows me to reveal the room to the walls and then further for the secret doors.

PS: Nice first map! Great job with the shadows. It gives it a very simple depth while being just enough to go with the modeled furniture.
