With the 109th Map of the Week we take a look at the town center of North Junction, county seat of the Slovanian River County. The town extends

beyond the map's boundaries. The unnumbered buildings on the map also can be assumed to be residential. However, the game master should feel

free to identify these structures in any manner that he or she chooses.

Count Arnošt's Castle Complex:

1. Servants' Quarters.

2. Stable and Coachhouse.

3. Castle Building. The residence and offices of Count Arnošt are in this building. The 68-year-old count and his wife, Countess Vlasta, a 66

-year-old human female sorceress, dwell alone here. Arnošt's county minister Bonifác, a 58-year-old human male merchant, and his wife, Lada, a

54-year-old human female scholar, also live in the castle. Arnošt's court mage, Dalimil, an unmarried 72-year-old human male wizard, has

exclusive use of the castle tower. Dalimil is the only publicly know spellcaster of higher level in North Junction.

Distant Trails Trading:

4. Administrative Office. The manager of Distant Trails in North Junction is the 51-year-old Emanuel, a human male merchant. Who or what owns

this trading company is uncertain, but it seems certain that Arnošt has a substantial interest in it. Ostensibly, the company transports ore and

coal in heavy duty wagons from Mine Docks to Newhouse and bronze products and other wares back to Mine Docks on the return trip.

5. Wagon House.

6. Warehouses.

7. Stable.

Royal Trading Co.:

8. Administrative Office. Slovania's largest trading company is a national transportation operation jointly controlled by the crown, the four

counties and the Border March, with the king, the burgomaster, the counts and the margrave all having a say in its dealings. The manager in

North Junction is the 37-year-old Vilma, a human female merchant. She employs three clerks and a bookkeeper, all human male and female

also employs a salesperson and a laborer, both human male and female commoners. Bořek and his wife, Albína, a 44-year-old human female commoner,

chandler, a human female commoner.

North Junction. She employs two journeyman bakers, both human male artisans; an apprentice baker, a human female commoner, and two salespersons,

commoners, and a laborer, human male commoner

21. Northflood Smithy. This operation is owned and operated by Master Smith Heřman, a 61-year-old human male artisan. His chief aide and

second master is his 39-year-old daughter Eliška, a human female artisan. They employ four journeyman smiths, all human male and female

artisans; two apprentice smiths, human male and female commoners, and two laborers, both human male and female commoners. The smithy does all

types of work, from making and repairing weapons and armor to the manufacture of farm implements and the shoeing of horses. The garrison is the

smithy's biggest customer.

22. Marcel's House. This building serves as the house of Master Carpenter Marcel, the 48-year-old human male artisan who owns and operates the

River Woodworks carpentry and joining operation (Location No. 23).

23. River Woodworks. This is a combined carpentry and joiner operation. Master Carpenter Marcel, a 48-year-old human male artisan, is the

owner. The company does on-site carpentry and makes a wide variety of wood products including furniture and barrels. Marcel's employees include

the Master Joiner Johana, a 37-year-old human female artisan, and Master Cooper Havel, a 41-year-old human male artisan. He also employs three

journeyman carpenters, four journeyman joiners and a journeyman cooper, all human male and female artisans, and two apprentice carpenters, two

apprentice joiners, an apprentice cooper and two laborers, all human male and female commoners.

24. Drunken Apprentice Tavern. One could say that owner and barkeep Vařinec, a 42-year-old human male commoner, named this public house after

himself. More than 20 years ago, Master Miller Ambrož threw Vařinec out as an apprentice miller in the Northflood Grain Mill (Location No. 25).

The reason was that Vařinec regularly returned to the mill somewhat inebriated after the noon lunch break and then tended to fall asleep on the

job. Within a week after losing his apprentice's job, Vařinec inherited the tavern from his father, who died unexpectedly. Rather than being a

miller, Vařinec decided to become a barkeep. Despite the fact that he always has a bit of a buzz, he runs the Drunken Apprentice successfully.

Vařinec works the tap, serving lager beer from the Island Inn brewery across the street at three copper pieces per pint/half-liter tankard.

Shortly before opening hour, his wife, Aneta, a 39-year-old human female commoner, buys dark rye bread from Diana's Bakery (Location No. 18) and

cold cuts from Bořek's Butcher Shop (Location No. 14). She then makes bread boards, adding butter and dill pickles. The bread boards sell for a

bronze piece each.
25. Northflood Mill. Master Miller Ambrož, a 46-year-old human male artisan, owns North Junction's grain and vegetable oil mill. He charges

farmers a milling fee of 10% by weight. Ambrož employs the journeyman miller Ivana, a 26-year-old human female artisan; the apprentice miller

Mojmír, a 17-year-old human male commoner, and the laborer Aleksandra, a 24-year-old human female commoner.
26. Millstream and Dam. The millstream has been channelized with a stone wall.

27. Antonie's Wagon Works. Master Wainwright Antonie, a 49-year-old human female artisan, builds the rolling stock used in the North Junction

area. Her main products are wagons, coaches and wheelbarrows. She employs two journeyman wainwrights, human male and female artisans, and two

apprentice wainwrights and two laborers, all human male and female commoners. Antonie's husband, the 48-year-old human male merchant Radek, runs

the business side of the wagon works and he keeps the books.

28.-29. Pavlina's Sawmill. Master Sawyer Pavlina, a 46-year-old human female artisan, took over the sawmill after the death of her husband in

an accident. She is the sole source of lumber in the greater North Junction area. Pavlina employs a journeyman sawyer, human male artisan, and

an apprentice sawyer and laborer, both human male and female commoners.

30. Northflood Creek.

Inn Quarter:

31.-33. Island Inn.

31. Inn. The innkeeper Mikuláš, a 41-year-old human male merchant, owns and operates the only North Junction inn that accepts regular overnight

guests. His single rooms cost 8 bronze pieces per night. The public room serves the inn's own lager beer at 3 bronze pieces per pint/half-liter

tankard. Meals run between a silver piece and 9 bronze pieces per entrée. Mikuláš takes care of the inn's business affairs. His younger

brother, Záviš, a 36-year-old human male commoner, is in charge of the beer tap. Záviš' wife, the 34-year-old Master Cook Agáta, a human female

artisan, is in charge of the kitchen. Their daughter, Olga, a 16-year-old human female commoner, is the only waitress, but Mikuláš will double

as a waiter when business is heavy. None of the family members who work in the inn offer after-hours services. Mikuláš, his wife Eliška, their

daughter, Irma, and his mother. Romana, live in an apartment on the inn's third story. Eliška is a master smith who works in her father's

Northflood Smithy (Location No. 21).

32. Stable. Guests' coaches and horses can be kept here. Three stable boys and girls, all human commoners, are on duty in three different

shifts 24 hours a day. The daily stable fee is one bronze piece per coach and two bronze pieces per horse.

33. Brewhouse. Mikuláš' mother, the 62-year-old human female artisan Romana, is the master brewwife. She is training her granddaughter, the

17-year-old journeyman brewwife Irma, a human female artisan, to be her successor. The two brew a dark golden, well-hopped lager beer.

34.-37. Junction Inn.

34. Inn. The inn is owned by Count Arnošt. Public guests are not accepted. Some of the rooms are rented on a permanent basis to important

persons from elsewhere who come frequently to North Junction. Others are let as guest rooms, but only to those who are guests of or visitors to

the count, usually in town for business reasons. Room bookings are made by the castle (Location No. 3) staff. Arnošt's innkeeper is the

unmarried, 54-year-old human female merchant Eleonora. She works only on the business side of the inn and in service to the guests who have

rooms there. The guest rooms all are on the second story. An armed guard controls entry to the stairway. The ground floor includes the public

room, a fest hall that can be reserved, the kitchen and jakes and Eleonora's office and quarters. Eleonora and almost all of the inn's staff are

immigrants from Windland. That, in turn, is the result of Arnošt's desire to make his inn an elite house with gourmet dining. To that end, he

recruited experienced and talent members of the Windland gastronomy. Meals in the public room are the creations of the master cooks Vladan and

Karina, a husband and wife team, both 37-year-old human artisans, also lured by the count from the finest eatery in Tmavústí to North Junction.

From the same inn, he hired master brewwife Izabela, a still-single, 32-year-old human female artisan. She brews a dark golden light bock beer

that is unique in Slovania, blending the sweet taste of malt made from the finest brewer's barley with a strong bitter hops and a small portion

of aroma hops from the forbidden but high quality hops gardens of the vampire-ruled North Kingdom. However, those who can afford it tend to

prefer the premium wines from Arnošt's own vineyards on the River Storming east of Desert's End in the south of his county. Meals run from 1 to

6 gold pieces, wines cost between 3 and 200 gold pieces for a liter bottle, schnapps and liqueurs cost between 1 silver piece and 5 gold pieces

for a shot/100-cl glass and Junction Bock goes for 4 copper pieces per pint/half-liter tankard.

35. Stable. Guests' coaches and horses can be kept here. Three stable boys and girls, all human commoners, are on duty in three different

shifts 24 hours a day. The daily stable fee is included in the price of the room.

36. Brewhouse. The most popular brewery in Tmavústí in Windland belonged to the Salty Sailor inn there, until it and the entire inn complex on

the waterfront were destroyed in a strange fire whose origins never were investigated. Arnošt hired the ashen brewery's brewwife, Klára, a 63-

year-old human female master artisan, who came to North Junction with her journeyman brewwife, her daughter Izabela, now also a human female

master artisan at age 32. In North Junction, Klára began brewing special light bock that was a legend on the high seas of Blárheim. She passed

on her recipe to daughter Izabella, and when Klára died a year ago, Izabella succeeded her as brewwife. The brewery also employs two human male

laborers. After 18 bells (6 p.m.), locals can buy Junction Bock at the brewery for 7 copper pieces per quart/liter. Customers must bring their

own tankards.

37. Distillery. Arnošt has orchards and berry farms west of North Junction. Master Distiller Alois, a 51-year-old human male artisan from

Tmavústí, distills the juice of the fruits and berries into schnapps and liqueurs. His employees include the Slovánski journeyman distiller

Karel, a 30-year-old human male artisan, and three laborers, all human male and female commoners. Officially, the distillery is a part of the

inn complex, but it really is more of a commercial business in its own right. Alois' distillates are available throughout much of Slovania.

They even are sold at marketplaces and by wandering peddlers.

South Quarter:

38. Inland Clothier. Master Seamstress Anastázie, a 55-year-old human female artisan, is the best local customer of Lenka's Textiles (Location

No. 20). Her shop makes all kinds of clothing including military uniforms for the garrison. Her tailors and seamstresses make both ready-to-

wear clothing for the market and custom, made-to-order-and-fit clothing. Anastázie employs three journeyman tailors, human male artisans; two

journeyman seamstresses, human female artisans; eight apprentice tailors and seamstresses, human male and female commoners, and four salespersons

and laborers, also human male and female commoners.

39.-40. Town Hall Complex. The complex consists of a coach house and stable (Location No. 39) and the administrative building (Location No.

40). The town jail is in the cellar of the latter. The town rule is in the hands of the count's appointed Burgomaster Liliana, a 52-year-old

human female merchant. The city hall staff includes the burgomaster, eight clerks, all human male and female merchants; the six members of the

town watch, all human male and female warriors and fighters; three jailors, all human male and female fighters, and eight laborers, all human

male and female commoners.

41. Amalie's Pub. The 67-year-old retired human female ranger Amalie owns the popular pub. Amalie opens each day at 16 bells (4 p.m.). She

serves Junction Bock beer from the Junction Inn brewery at 7 bronze pieces per quart/liter tankard. When one considers that the bock beer has

nearly 7% alcohol, one tankard already is pretty heady fare. She offers nothing smaller than the quart/liter tankards. Beginning at 18 bells (6

p.m.), the pub begins serving fish boards – filets of smoked trout from the Northflood on rye bread with creamed horseradish. They cost 5 bronze

pieces each. Amalie has two employees. Sabina, a 19-year-old human female commoner, works as a waitress. Karolína, a 32-year-old human female

commoner, makes the fish boards and also helps Sabina with waitressing when it's busy.

42. Garrison. Commandant Anežka, a 44-year-old human female warrior, heads a company of 32 soldiers and two middle-level war wizards. The

garrison is more involved in police work than military operations. Anežka is responsible for maintaining the peace in the settlements in the

surrounding area, but the burgomaster also can call her to duty in North Junction if the town watch needs reinforcement. Another lesser known

duty is guarding the large store of reserve weapons that Arnošt has stored in the garrison.

43. House of Healing. Two human healers, the 46-year-old Vlastimil and his 47-year-old wife Milada, operate this herbal clinic. Vlastimil is

the chief healer for patients. Two other healers, both human females, the 29-year-old Antonie and the 36-year-old Kristýna, also heal patients.

Milada is in charge of the apothecary operation. She and the 33-year-old human male healer Vašek make the herbal medicines and remedies that

area used in treatment and sold over the counter. Milada has no herbal farms of her own. She buys raw herbs from peddlers.

44. Market. Both locals and traveling peddlers offer an ever-changing assortment of wares on the market square. Not all of them are legal, but

Count Arnošt has ordered Burgomaster Liliana to not control the matter too strictly. Anyone who wants to set up a stand on the market square

needs to buy a permit from town hall. A permit costs a silver piece per day, three gold pieces a week or 10 gold pieces for a month.

This is my latest offering. It's my first go at hand-drawing elements, with the help of tutorials, particularly torstan's, schwarzkreuz' and djekspek's. I'm 90% happy with it, and there are things I could have another go at, but I'm sick of looking at it so here it is!

Karameikos is a nation in one of the original D&D campaign worlds. I love my old-school RPGs!

Dunnan Gal Planet Map - After Nuclear Attack

Done in PS 5.1 and GIMP. Used five different base layers and the layer mask tool, applied Baro's "Crater Tutorial" and a fine raster made in GIMP to simulate a faint scren effect. Ironically, it took me a lot longer to place and shape all those craters than it did to set up the base layers. The holographic globe in the lower right corner is actually a spherized version of the same map.

The whole map is supposed to represent a digital image taken by a recon probe doing a high-orbit pass, coming from the planet's night side. Full version here.

Quote:

Quietly, the recon probe slid around the blue and green orb of Dunnan Gal, leaving the night behind. It had used the system's many satellites to move into position, using a dozen slingshot maneuvers to avoid using its own drive. The Dominion still had a presence in Dunnan Gal, and while the probe was an unmanned vehicle, it was also unarmed, slow, and something one did not want to lose in the kind of war the Clanholds had been fighting or the past year. Once it had entered the star's gravity well there was no way it could outrun an Ashani patrol or slip back into the safety of foldspace.

The *deceptive* safety of foldspace, Warleader Gerrel thought sourly as he watched the probe's feed in the theater command post thirty-nine lightyears away. Conventional wisdom had it you couldn't fight a battle in foldspace. Only pirates preyed on lonely merchants there. Too chaotic, lousy detection and combat ranges. No way to ambush someone in a warship or make use of superior maneuverability or weapons ranges. Only, the Ashani had done *just that* to the relief force his clan had sent the minute they had learned of the Dominion's attack on the system. And it had cost his Clan Dunnan almost a thousand ships - and their home system.

He knew he was present in the command center only as a courtesy. For all intents and purposes, Clan Dunnan no longer existed. What few tens of thousands still remained would be swallowed by another great clan soon through marriage and adoption. That the elders had guaranteed him. At least he would not have to suffer the shame of seeing his people degraded to clanless pawns.

He felt a bout of pain race through his hands and was surprised to see he had wrapped them so tightly around a console that the white of his knuckles shone through his bronze skin. The tattoos covering the right side of his face itched. He had long ago realized that to be an effect when he felt embarassed. But nobody seemed to have noticed, and he was content to leave it at that.

Stroking his braided chin beard, he walked to the front of the ops center where most the others had gathered in front of the large screen. A year ago it had been a black as deep as the night. Now gray had almost completely replaced it, just as a haggard and haunted look had robbed him of his air of confidence. He cleared his throat.

"Operator, magnify read-outs, please."

"Aye, sir. Recon One-Seven-Seven is doing passive scans only at this stage," he pointed out. "I can give you a magnified image, but surface data gathering's restricted to what emissions she picks up and with how the VI correlates what we get with the pre-war data."

"Understood."
He concentrated on the large display. One after another, radiation blooms popped up, accompanied by warning signs. They were only the tip of the iceberg, he knew. This wasn't the first recon flight and, after all, the hundreds of smaller impact craters were clearly visible even at this resolution. Dunnan Gal presented itself deceptively peaceful, it's storm-tossed atmosphere almost devoid of clouds. Those storms had washed almost all the dust out of the air again, letting the sunlight back to the surface.
"Any signs of life?" Dunnan Gal had been an important world, full of industry, home to more than 1.6 billion people.

There were none. "If the bombardment didn't get them, the nuclear winter, the fallout and the collapse of infrastructure most certainly did," the operator stated evenly. "I'd be surprised if there are more than 10,000 people left down there."

But Gerrel didn't even listen to him anymore. He just stared at the tomb his home had become.
Its been a while and its been mad busy, but just wanted to post up the map i did for Assassin's Creed Black Flag. You can get it when you pre-order the game:) It was 12 days of hell to make, but definitely a good experience. Thanks to my buddy Schley for handing off the assignment in the first place:) This was the final rendition that Ubisoft accepted, though it went through about 10 renditions before i got to this.

With the 108th Map of the Week we take our first look at the Slovanian River County.

Arnošt, count of the River County, is the most corrupt of the Slovanian nobles. His county, in the southwest corner of Slovania, is more or less a medieval Mafia domain. His subjects don't mind much. Most of them live in the great central valley of the county, which is one of the main Slovanian breadbaskets and, therfore, prosperous.

The count did not gain his wealth by bleeding those he rules. On the contrary, other than for the collection of normal Slovanian taxes and tithes, which are anything but oppressive, he lets the folk alone, as long as they do the same with respect to his operations.

Pure luck made Arnošt prosperous. Clever conniving made him rich. He first was raised to nobilty as the baron of North Junction, which allowed him to occupy the baronial castle there. Almost by accident, Arnošt found a secret passage in the castle that led to the ancient but well-endowed treasury of a fallen and corrupt Ćsir baron who had gone over to the Darkness. In that treasury, Arnošt found some 2,000,000 GP worth of Ćsir coins.

The count is the mastermind of the illegal smuggling operations into the North Kingdom. With the profits from his equally illegal mines in the lower Midworld Mountains of Auđarhome, Arnošt continues to keep his Ćsir treasure secret and hidden. Old Ćsir coins are common in Slovania, but they are nowhere as frequent as in North Junction and Mine Docks. The reason, of course, is the expenditure of Ćsir coin by the count. North Junction is Arnošt's seat of government, but Mine Docks is the center of his illicit business operations, followed by South Docks – based upon the old Ćsir Empire name - in the north. In both river settlements, Arnošt hires corrupt warriors to serve as his border watch.

With the cover of night, the illegal caravans cross the Fjörm River Bridge at Mine Docks with the aid of the corrupt border patrol. The caravans travel along secret trails in the foothills of the Midworld Mountains just we or the outer settlements of Windland in the south. From the Greenhouse ruins, they travel northward, bringing contraband to and from the vampire-ruled North Kingdom and the Dreadlands of the dark draug Duke ţráinn. From Mine Docks, caravans from Windland bring goods and contraband into Windland and transport merchandise northward from that kingdom. The business has proven lucrative for Count Arnošt.

Despite all of this corruption, life in the River County is relatively safe and unthreatening. One could argue that only Grainland County is more secure. Both counties can be considered to be "monster free." The orcs, ogres and draugs that sometimes cross into the Border March and Royal County are unknown in the River or Grainland counties. The only people who are likely to get in trouble in the Fjörm Valley are those who are too curious or who talk too much. The valley is the heartland of Count Arnošt's illegal operations. His so-called palace guard does an efficient job of arranging the fatal disappearance of those who are too nosy or who have big mouths.

Both the revised Royal Charter and the Royal Book of Laws forbid the Slovanians from taking any lands that are outside of the kingdom's borders. Despite that, Arnošt built a bridge across the Fjörm several years ago and then marched into the stone giant nation of Auđarhome, where he claimed several still workable copper, tin and lignite mines that had been abandoned by the giants. The Slovanians are uncertain why the Auđar have not reacted to this illegal annexation of their land. It is known that the stone giants have withdrawn deeper into the Midworld Mountains. It may be that the giants have not noticed yet. Ordinarily, Arnošt's incursion into Auđarhome would have drawn the king, the margrave and the other counts into taking joint action against him. However, illegal as this annexation might be, they all suport it, at least quietly.

That support is a matter of needed resources. There are no valuable deposits of copper, tin or lignite in Slovania. Until Arnošt's incursion into the giants' mountains, the Slovanians had to pay high prices to import these commodities into the kingdom from Windland. As mentioned, Arnošt is no fool. He makes no power plays elsewhere in the kingdom with his gains from the giants' lands. The count sells copper, tin and lignite at reasonable prices to all parts of the kingdom, and the bronze produced by the foundry in Mine Docks is sold throughout his own county and the southern part of Grainland County. The rest of the kingdom buys bronze from the foundry in Newhouse, which also smelts the copper and tin from Arnošt's Auđarhome mines.

East of the Fjörm Valley, River County is a different land. Between the Fjörm and Storming Rivers one finds Slovania's richest farm lands and densest rural population. In this broad agricultural belt, Arnošt and his barons earn a substantial income from tithing and taxes. However, the count has no interest in facing the discontent of a dissatisfied folk. His taxes and tithes are fair and at the Slovanian standard. He also has made clear that his barons are to tax fairly and see to it that the people of the breadbasket region remain content, productive and supportive of their nobility.

There are no big cities in the county. Industrial Mine Docks is the largest municipality, with a population of about 2,000, making it at best a large town. South Docks, North Junction and South Junction all have populations of less than 1,000, putting them in the league of villages or small towns. All of the numerous other farming and Fjörm River settlements have populations of less than 200, ranking as hamlets or encampments. The people of the river settlements earn their living fishing, growing grain and raising milk cows and slaughter cattle.

You can get the map in two versions:

Anyway, I'm unsure how this map will be received given that it is both historical and non-geographical (hopefully I can make something more to the tastes of this forum in the future). The map was made for and in the style of the game Civilization V. It's a map of the Siam before the western powers scarfed up a lot of land around it, leaving the uncolonised Thailand the shape it is today.

For those wondering, the year is in the Thai Buddhist Calendar, which is 543 years faster than the Gregorian calendar.

Always existed and always will exist, conflicts between the samurai clans and ninja families. For times, Shogun financed the military expeditions of the samurai and supported the agricultural maintenance of ninjas. However in certain era, samurai feel superior because imperial links and slowly began a conquest of the land ninjas.
Without the Shogun's interference, ninjas gone be cornered because it lacked the military power compared with samurais. In the form of counter attack, the families ninjas blocked the agricultural supplies for the rest of the empire, which was very difficult times. Hunger and misery ravaged the land of Izumo, then the Shogun had to interfere in this conflict. Coming to close the war and establishing boundaries. This did not prevent small conflicts that still occur.
In 250 BC, the imperial family had begun to lose its lineage, this time the Carp's Clan was best suited to succeed the throne. However the ninjas did not support this self dictatorship, because the Carp's Clan was one of the greatest ninjas inquisitors. This time that the things began to change. Kaede Hamada, leader of Eagle's Clan discovered one ore able to make their swords unbreakable. This changed the course of the war. With the support of the families ninjas quickly Hamada's popularity grew, but maybe not in the time required to exchange the Shogunate.
With countless conflicts scattered Izumo, Sakuradite was quickly inserted into the everyday population, whether in war, whether in secular life. Source of energy and money, this ore was to take over the shogunate's hands from Hitoch Kaoshi, supreme leader of the Carp's Clan.
A few months of the transfer of the Shogun's power, sellers silk from Nama Family found traces of Sakuradite in the Warlands. Hamada immediately reported to Hitama Kakochi , leader of Crane and arch enemy of the Carp. Hitama funded a millionaire expedition to the Warlands with the intention to discovering if the rummors about Kaoshi really distributing Sakuradite by other continents.
On the day of the procedure between the Shoguns, Hamada and Hitama invaded the imperial city, taking the throne and overthrowing the Carp's Clan forever. Hamada supported by the ninja families raised the Eagle's Clan for cutting, becoming the fourth Shogun promoted the clan of Izumo in 303 BC. In 322 BC, Kiria Kaoshi become Shogun, descendant of the ancient imperial family and the Eagle's clan, this time already admitted with royal blood.
During these 80 years on the throne changes, the conflict eased. Focused on the extraction of sakuradite, the 7 Ninja families and 5 Samurai clans were moved to set up their capital in large sources of this ore, and appointed by the emperor own extraction and in different areas of application for Sakuradite.
Already at the end of your domain, Kaoshi determined the Sakura Law, that prohibited the marketing of Sakuradite with other continents. In 342 BC trying to eliminate the high rates of smuggling of the ore the Scorpion's Clan was appointed guardian of the law. Peacetime always been a thread of destruction, current Mamoto Mohio, ruler of the imperial city is sick and still in 416 BC still does not have a firstborn successor. This creates tension in families and clans because the Ascension of a samurai clan can be one of the next decisions of the emperor, less than Mamoto Kuiky eldest daughter to take the throne and assume the position of empress.

One of my best!

I cut out the side of a paper bag for the nice brown color. Then (of course) I used Sharpie to detail this map.

If you can't read my shopping-list quality handwriting, the words are as follows:

For the first 400 years of the Empire's existance, Clairnynth remained uninhabited. Crewver, the landing point of the expedition, grew rapidly. Though the forests to the South proved resistant, Tavmin hold control of the Inner Sea. Now, the wild creatures of the Southernmost forests offer challanges to brave explorers. As the Age of Heros dawns, a dark force lurks below the surface.

This map will be featured in my upcoming 10-day adventure. Each day I'll take one of my best maps. The story (two-three pages a day) will fit around the map. The story itself is about the rise of Satan. If you're interested, the first day is next Saturday (5/11/2013)

Thanks for looking. Feel free to offer suggestions, praise, and likes! :D
