The Abyssal Plane Of Despair
This was my August/September Lite Challenge entry made in GIMP. I had a lot of fun creating this map and trying to project the "mood" of an Abyssal Plane. If you look very closely you can just make out faces in the terrain of the islands. Doomed souls fated to serve the Dragonqueen....
Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
