Part 2 of 2 attachments.
"A dark creeper necromancer has taken over a myconid colony at the edge of a forest of fungus for his own purposes. Meanwhile, a dwarven mining guild from Forgehome has delved into the myconid caverns and begun mining operations, clearing whole caves of fungus. In retaliation, the myconids have slaughtered the miners." (4e Underdark Supplement p. 50 )
These are VTT ready battlemaps for the Dark Fungi dungeon delve located in the Underdark as a part of the points of light setting for 4th Ed D&D. Dungeon outline replica of maps located in the 4e Underdark Supplement p.50-55. Original WIP Link here.
This is the second half of the maps that I revisited due to the original product being low quality work. Completion of this map makes this project complete. For ease of use I've included each encounter individually and maps with and without grids which will be my new standard. Tried adding more objects this time to add some flavor. Included with this thread is an archive of .png files of some custom objects I used for difficult terrain, light sources and the mushrooms. Enjoy!

Decided to complete this bonus encounter in the reference book, titled Typical Shallows Encounter. Part of the same general area in the Underdark. Enjoy as well!!
Looks nice to me! Nice battle maps are always welcome--most people around these parts tend to focus more on regional or city maps. Great job!
Thanks. I'm using battlemaps as a starting point in the process. A month and a bit ago I only knew the basics of raster based programs. I think I've improved a lot since then. Every map I make I get more familiar with the programs and more confident so it helps. For example the bonus map is pretty much my first solid attempt at using Layer Masks. Plus I know there's a lot of guests who are GM's and just snatch the battlemaps, especially of if they are published modules.
I also find that battlemaps are good for someone who wants to start mapping. It worked well enough for me
Nice job on the maps.
Great Work!! and Thanks again for the help with my "Grinning Goblin"
Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
