Battlemaps for BlackStar Studios
I'm going to call these two battlemaps finished even though I'll probably tweak them some more before I finally let them go to the client. These are battlemaps for an adventure for BlackStar Studios' Shadowlands campaign setting (Facebook: BlackStar Studios and Twitter: @BlackStarGames). You can see the WiPs here. Hope you like 'em.

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.

Edit: I should mention that this is the mid-scale home of a minor mob boss in Tarina. The PCs end up here getting tortured in that room in the upper right or rifling through the papers in the guy's desk or something...sorry, I don't know the full story.

@RE: missed your question...yes, done in PS CS4. I used Poser and Modo to model/render a couple of the elements.
