Wow. Diamond I just don't know how you manage to keep pumping out such different and equally amazing maps! You are like a machine man! Great stuff, I really like your artistic work with the fonts.

Following my usual method of map cannibalization, I scavenged names from some of my previous maps to complete this. It's a pseudo-European layout, with the western half of the continent being a sort of mixture of Scottish-like clans and more primitive Pict-like tribes. Eventually I hope to do a map showing the regions to the the north of this, which are a series of large islands populated by Nordic countries, and a southern map, showing the rest of Mirovia and the Italian-esque nations and city-states below it.
Fonts used are Mosaic Initials (for the large first letters) and Roman Antique for everything else, both found on www.dafont.com. The mountain brushes are from this site and are the same ones I used in my recent Tropan map, but I can't recall who originally made 'em.

The only thing I would change would be to 'tone down' the nation border colors, they seem a bit 'bright' compared to the rest of the map.

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.

I tried to select colors that were more muted and toned-down, not so vibrant. Maybe they turned out better here - Northern Toria?
