Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.

Can you talk a little bit about how you built the planet in the map? Was this done from scratch in gimp or do you use other software?
This entire map was done in GIMP. There is a tutorial for the planet creation HERE. I followed the tutorial but couldn't get the script that the tut used to run so I created the planet base myself using the "map to sphere" function and some shadowing. Your results may vary.![]()
