I like that a lot actually. You have a good hand for adding your own text to maps. Mine sucks.

So ... I tested out a new nib on my pen and some new papers, and came up with this. I had to touch up a bit of the ink in photoshop, since I smeared it about a bit. Then I had some time to burn, so I went ahead and played around with some colouring and texturing, nabbed a picture frame from the interwebs and there you have it. Some random bit of a frozen wasteland. It looks like a very pleasant and hopeful land indeed.

Royal: I'm very sorry for your loss, your mother was a terribly attractive woman.

Yeah, I'd say it is pretty good for just being a test run.

I admit, I do enjoy hand-lettering. For today's D&D session I managed to get all of 4 cities hand-lettered. It turned out to be totally unecessary, since my players were all for goofing around in the dungeon of Bodom. In the end we managed one whole encounter, skipped 2 traps and then floated off to a discussion of EU III and other stuff ... pretty par for my rpg crewmain thing is, it was fun as heck. Oh, yeah, in the background they also managed to conquer a city for one of the ex-PCs and his princess girl ... complicated, basically (not).
I think you're doing good in photoshop![]()
Still learning, trust me!![]()
Your hand lettering is very impressive. Also like the use of the red ink...nicely done.![]()
