Gorgeous map! Love the colors and the style. Have some rep!
A lot of the neat things are subtle, like the work on the letters, the lines cutting through the sea, the partially obscured compass rose, hidden under the island itself. Really cool.
It's beautiful, and I think this is the first top down view map I have ever seen seen you do! I love the way you've done the title.

@Ravs: indeed my first top-down-ish map in tolkienesque style, must say all them little trees is a lot of work to paint. I did copy some trees, but most where painted one-by-one

I love the "Grunge" color schemes of many of your maps. I have personally failed to emulate it with any success. How about some tips ,tricks or better yet Tutorial?
