Ok here is my first City Map, I hope you like it. I am still unsure in this field, its far away from my Arden style maps so this one was a realy tough map.

Holy mapping skills, Batman!
I love the contrast between the natural elements and the man-made ones.
The orderly rows of buildings within the walls gives it a sense of military order - like a Roman settlement - rather than the organic flow you see in later periods. I don't know if that is your intention, but to me it says "Soldiers live here, not civilians".
Look forward to stealing your ideas...erm, I mean seeing more in this vein.
