Lovely work Sap, and a well deserved win.
Got to say, I really like the overhead angle perspective on this!
Very well done. I like how you labeled it. Makes it easy to enjoy the detail of the map.
I love it. Makes me thirsty.
It really does convey what the heat of the place must be.
Great look. We can only aspire to do such work.
This is a really beautiful isometric map! I love the colors and the detail. The label are interesting...as Valtyr said, having the labels around the border does make it easier to enjoy the detail of the map. However, just from a practical standpoint, the lines from the labels to the features are *really* de-emphasized, to the point where it made it hard to identify the labels as labels at first, because I didn't see that the lines pointed to things until I'd stared at it for a few seconds. I think if you made the lines just a *bit* thicker or more bold, it might help the identification process without taking away too much from the map itself. But really that's just a nitpick. Good work!
