The Adventures of Calan Stonebridge....
This is the first of a series of "Encounter Maps" that I have created that tell the story of a young boy and his search for adventure and fortune. He has stumbled across a group of men plotting an adventure to recover what they call "A great treasure". Young Calan has overheard these plans while hiding in the rafters of the private room in the tavern that he and his mother work and live in. This kind of mapping really sums up my "style" I will create a map and then find the story in it. I really enjoy bringing out the stories that all maps hold. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. This first encounter map is the beginning of the story. It is titled:"Dark Meeting" and is a simple one room encounter in which a meeting is about to take place. Our young hero is hidden in the rafters watching.....

The Stables...
Here is the second encounter map of the series. Here we find Calan once again clinging to a beam looking down over the tavern's stables. This map was a good way for me to learn (and re-learn) some lighting and shadowing techniques.

This is the next in the "Adventures of Calan Stonebridge" encounter map series. This map depicts a small section of the sewers under the city of Riverhewn. Our young hero has followed a group of men he overheard talking of a "great treasure" It seems that Calan has found more adventure than he could have ever dreamed of.....

The Axe & Stump Tavern
This is the seventh installment of the "Adventures of Calan Stonebridge" Encounter map series. This map depicts the "Axe & Stump" Tavern a seedy establishment that hides a dark secret....
This map as all the others was done in GIMP
*EDIT* After looking at this for a while I decided that I didn't like the bodies in the cell. They were fantastic objects but they just didn't "fit" so I removed them and updated this image.
*EDIT* I realized that I uploaded the wrong image. No key and not updated with a few fixes that I had made. This is now the correct one.
