I'm new to the forum, but I've been lurking around on here for awhile.
I used to draw simple maps when I was a kid, but recently I have really gotten into drawing highly detailed fantasy maps.
Ędorn Drėsirasar (Southwestern Ędorn) is just a portion of my largest continent on my fantasy world Pęsė. All the labels for geographic/political terms are mostly in the language I have sort of started called Helisinar, which in my own fiction is an Elven language, along with the script. I already have done several other maps that are in my world.
This is the first one that I have redrawn on a 18" x 24" paper. This is not a computer generated map using GIMP or Photoshop; it's completely hand drawn.
I do want to say that I have taken some inspiration from some of the maps that other users have posted, but with my own drawing style.

Wow !! Nice work. I can appreciate the time and effort that it takes to draw a big map like this (I worked on a hand drawn version of a big city in my campaign setting for almost 15 years) Welcome to the Guild and have some rep for posting a great map in your first post :)
I am very impressed. How much time did it take to create this map? Have some rep.
Wow, very nice! I love hand drawn maps. I hope you'll show us the whole world? Have some rep.!
I'd say it took about 30-50 hours; I spent about a month working on it usually about 2-3 hours per day.

First off, welcome to the Guild. Second, that is a very lovely map! I'm not surprised it took you 30-50 hours to produce it. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.
Thanks everybody for the great feedback.
