    How do you go about deciding where to put all your rivers and mountains?

    Did you use a brush for the mountains and hills?

    I started by looking at real world maps. I love to look at maps! (Geek) I then used what I saw in real maps, and matched that with what I wanted this area to look like.

    This is actually a modified version of a map that I first did back in the later 80's for a RPG that I ran back then. I had a lot of issues with that map, but I wanted to keep the general layout the same, but make it a little more realistic.
