Looks nice. I'd decrease white outlines thickness though and add a scale, according to your border. Some rep for the first post with a cool map![]()

i like this (though i always had a soft spot for pirate country). I agree with max though, id decrease the white strok on the words - or better still, change it to a gradient that slowly fades.

Hi Belizar
Wow, what a map!
I'm a young filmmaker from Switzerland and I've found your work while googling for some maps of the Dominican Republic. Your map is by far the most beautiful one I've stumbled across. Congrats!
At the moment, I'm working on a documentary film about tobacco production in the Domenican Republic. And to visualize the locations of the tobacco fields, I'd love to do a short animation sequence in which the different production sites are highlighted. For this sequence, I'm in need of a nice background map. So please let me ask you if it's possible to use your work for that! That would be amazing. I'd also love to give proper credits and it's even possible to pay you a little bit.
As I've just registered on this site, I'm not able to send you private messages yet (the message system is not yet activated for me). But please reply to this thread in case you're interested in more details about the project.
Thanks!
Best regards from Switzerland.

It appears that the image attachment has broken. It definitely sounds like a nice map though.
