    Map Skye Rock

    Skye Rock

High above the mountain ranges in Avenholme, a mysterious floating rock can occasionally be found floating near the vicinity of the town of Skye. It is said that on top of the rock, a walled fortress can sometimes be glimpsed by those with far-sight.

Looks nice but more details and shading would have make it more "finished".

I'm not sure that shading and additional details would make it more "finished" as it would move it from a traditional ink illustration style suitable for black and white printing into a more modern painterly style. Good line quality is fairly difficult to achieve, if I understand correctly.

I meant details and shadinhg with some linework to keep the black and white work.

I sometimes err on the side of caution and try not to over detail things as I don't want to lose focus on the important elements of the map. I agree that bits of shade and foliage would add to it if done correctly . Its finished for the purpose it was made for
