If you attach the image as a .jpg or .png you can upload larger, higher rez images. From what I can see it looks pretty good but the small size and low-rez make it sifficult to really see the details.
Hand-drawn regional map to photoshop. Placed over paper-style background with Multiply then colored with low-opacity brushes. I'm thinking about continuing at this scale and style a continent map (maybe 10-15 times larger). Comments and critiques, please.

Nice map - I like the colour scheme. I'd suggest changing the text to an overlay layer and then duplicating it so it blends into the map a little more than the hard black you have.
I'd also recommend saving as a jpg and uploading as it works better with the boards.
